First aid for 38 schools from Impala Rustenburg

Updated: Nov 15, 2021

Impala Rustenburg donated a range of healthcare equipment that included first aid kits, stretchers and first aid training manuals, to 38 schools in 15 communities in November last year, as part of their ongoing efforts to support the communities within which they operate.

Mark Munroe, CE of Impala Rustenburg, said the team decided to visit each school individually to ensure strict compliance to all Covid-19 safety protocols and to avoid disrupting exam timetables.

The communities visited included Luka, Phokeng, Bobuampya, Lefaragatlhe, Kanana, Tsitsing, Freedom Park, Impala Kookfontein, Meriting, Seraleng, Rooikraal, Robega, Chaneng, Rasimone, and Mafenya.

Munroe said that the first aid kits include medical supplies that the schools can use to help stabilise a person who is sick or injured until they can be treated by a trained healthcare provider. “Impala Rustenburg believes in making a difference in our local communities and our team was honoured to be warmly welcomed at every school they visited.”
